Mary “Tiny” Little was a petite woman born in 1913 in Arkansas where she lived until about 1935 when she moved to Texas. She and her future husband Bill Hindman met by 1937 and several years later they married, settled down in Oklahoma City and raised 3 children.
Recently, I borrowed Mary & Bill’s albums and have been scanning all those photos. One thing I’ve noticed is that there are quite a few pictures of dogs, cats and horses. Clearly, they loved their pets!
From those albums, I now have compiled Mary through the years:
Mary was my biological grandmother on my father’s side.
No Story Too Small offered a challenge: have one blog post each week devoted to a specific ancestor. It could be a story, a biography, a photograph, an outline of a research problem — anything that focuses on one ancestor. Each of my posts for this challenge will include in the title “52 Ancestors Challenge” and will have the tag of 52Ancestors.
