Thomas Hindman1 was born as late as 1789 in Ireland (according to the question answered by his son in the 1880 census). Some researchers indicate his father was Andrew or Alexander and his mother was Margaret.

Additional clues to help me find more about Thomas:

  • his son, James, was born in 1811 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania1
  • his daughter, Martha, was born in 1815 in Ohio
  • James and Martha married Cox siblings Sarah and John and took place in Butler County, Ohio 1831 & 1836 respectively
